The smoke from the many, many fires had already moved into this area of Alaska and we had a "smokey" view of Denali. Gary was able to make this view look pretty! The growing season in Alaska is extremely short and absolutely everything there grows big...
We went on a hike and made sure that we had procured a "black trash bag"--bear deterent!
