Monday, October 27th, The London PoppiesGreetings Family and Friends, We headed into London today to see the London poppies. There are 888,246 poppies in the Tower of London commemorating that number of soldiers from the United Kingdom, Austrailia, and the Commonwealth that died in World War I, 100 years ago. What a profound sight... Check out these website to learn more....each poppy is hand-made and is ceramic. Here are a few photos from London today.... The next blog entry will be from Barcelona!
